MY ROLE
With more interns, more clients, and a bigger showroom than what I had been used to in previous internships, I struggled at first to find my footing at Agentry and was challenged every day. Soon enough and in working with my internship supervisors, I was able to get a feel for the quickness of the industry and learned just how small the margin of error was.
Working with a bigger team, I assisted in coordinating pulls and fulfilling requests between major publications and with new and legacy brands such as Laurence & Chico, David Hart, Mavi Jeans, Florsheim, Life After Denim, East Dance, Gola, Minnetonka, Private Policy, and more. I was able to get practice with pitching and assisting with planning press events, media monitoring, sample trafficking, assisted with location scouting and desksides, and I was given the opportunity to assist at New York Fashion Week.
I couldn’t have asked for a better final internship experience for my college career - Agentry PR was invaluable for getting a feel for the grit and glamour of the beauty of fashion, and great practice for my future career.
